My yoga journey started just over a decade ago when I attended a class from the local teacher in my area after I had expressed to her how stressed I was at the time. My Mother Claire had not long been diagnosed with cancer and my stress levels had peaked and were not coming down anytime soon.

What I remember most from that class was not the poses, not how flexible or inflexible my body was, not whether I could breathe properly or not, but how incredible I felt at the end of class.
I took this feeling home with me and for the first time in months, I felt an immense sense of calm, peace and feeling I could fully breath again.
It is this feeling that I have wanted to share and it is this feeling that led me to complete my Yoga Teacher Training in Mysore, India at Samyak Yoga.
I wanted to immerse myself completely in the culture and tradition of Yoga, which is why India, the birth place of Yoga, was calling me.
I completed my 200hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in January 2020 and have used this life changing experience to bring the true essence of Yoga to my classes and that feeling of Calm, Peace and the ability to take in a fully deep breath.
My goal as a Yoga Teacher is to guide you:
- To connect to your body through breath
- To use the breath and movement to release tension
- To increase flexibility
- To decrease stress
- To walk away feeling more balanced and aligned
- To hold space for you to just be
